Twenty minutes to create a retail campaign

By Summit | Thursday 4th July 2013

In just 20 minutes students turn retail briefs into marketing campaigns.

Watch this video to learn how this digital generation brings together online, retail and smart devices.

It was one of the presentations at the 2013 Ecommerce Futures Conference and features Marc Lewis, Dean of the School of Communication Arts, London, describing how the exercise – called ’20 Second Briefs’ – works.

These are real life briefs, posed by retailers sitting in the conference audience. Three briefs were selected, students split into teams of two and then developed their own campaign device or idea.

Twenty minutes later they returned, and found themselves on stage of the conference theatre and delivering their pitch.

Marc Lewis is passionate about his students and their understanding of consumer communication. Visit the website to find out more about the links between industry, education and the School.
