The finalists in The Biddable Media Awards 2017 were announced this afternoon, and Summit has been shortlisted in the innovation category with our client, Joules.
Reshaping multi-channel marketing
We began working with Joules in 2015, with the overall objective of re-shaping their multi-channel marketing activity, using data-led strategies to drive revenue and return on investment. In late 2015 we set the Joules PPC activity live on our predictive analytics powered marketing intelligence platform, Forecaster, to improve the efficiency of the campaigns. Forecaster not only improved performance, but also freed up the team to utilise their time more efficiently.
We then set out to explore ways to strategically adjust marketing activity in line with customer behaviour, allowing us to maximise return on investment across all search channels. We made changes to the device strategy, dedicated more time to keeping on top of the structure of the PLA account and on changes to the Joules feed, and identified and optimising the products which were driving sales and revenue at a granular level. In addition, we made changes to the Joules website and worked with internal teams on their PR and content strategies.
Our partnership with Joules over the last 12 months has required us to thoroughly examine how, where and when budget is spent across all search channels, and be reactive based on how each product in each channel is performing. This has enabled us to generate a significant year on year increase in revenue for Joules.
The Biddable Media Awards were created to celebrate the best organisations, agencies and individuals working in the UK biddable media industry. We’re up against formidable competition in the innovation category, and we look forward to seeing who goes home with the trophy on 25th May in London.
