Summit is delighted to have been shortlisted for an award at the Marketing Week Masters 2020.
We are shortlisted with our client, Signet, in the Search Marketing category. The nomination recognises the achievements of our SEO team in improving Signet’s organic search performance for its two UK brands – high street jewellers H.Samuel and Ernest Jones.
Following Google algorithm updates in 2018 and 2019, the two sites saw ranking fluctutations for a range of their primary keywords. Summit’s SEO team set to work, in close collaboration with Signet’s internal teams, to produce a detailed recovery plan with the objective of recovering keyword rankings and increasing organic search traffic.
Through a range of content marketing tactics and technical SEO recommendations, both sites’ saw significant increases in performance, with target keywords seeing ranking improvements. Both websites also saw significant uplifts in organic visibility and non brand traffic.
The Marketing Week Masters 2020 winners will be announced in an online showcase in September.
