Alex became a Summiteer in 2014, in his current position of Head of Trading. In this role he has established an in house Ecommerce Trading and Creative team delivering fully outsourced multinational ecommerce solutions for Durex and K-Y. Alex’s other responsibilities include heading up the trading product within the Summit Retail Value Chain and leading consultancy projects on ecommerce and trading for our portfolio of clients.
After graduating with a BA Honours in Accounting from the University of Central Lancashire, Alex stayed in the north west joining the Lex/RAC group leading the commercial team of Lex Fleetserve. Alex then took a group role as Commercial Manager in Findel plc for Kitbag, Confetti, I Want One of Those.com, The Cotswold Company and Letterbox.
Before joining Summit, Alex was Business Director for Kitbag.com, where he was responsible for delivering the fully outsourced multichannel retail solutions for a number of high profile sporting associations including Wimbledon, Formula One, England Rugby, The Open Golf, The Ryder Cup, UEFA Champions League, ECB, and various football clubs including Manchester City, Real Madrid, Everton, Celtic, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.
Outside of work, Alex has maintained his sporting connections and is a keen sports fan and participant in football, rugby and motor sport. In his spare time, Alex also runs a 17th Century Public House with his brother.
