Summit has been selected by Kesa as its preferred supplier to build a new generation of e-commerce sites for seven European electrical retailers.
The third largest electrical group in Europe, Kesa has stores in France, Italy, Turkey, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, the UK and the Czech Republlic.
Summit's selection comes at the end of a four month consulting project working with Kesa on a strategic review of their pan-European e-commerce operations.
The e-commerce platform to be used is a combination of Magento Enterprise and bespoke Summit technology.
Split into two phases; the initial phase began in June 2011 with Summit delivering new sites for BCC Netherlands, Darty Italy, Darty Spain and Darty Turkey between October 2011 and January 2012.
