Neil joined Summit in 2012 following 13 years of retail experience on client side. Starting his career as a data driven marketer, Neil formed a passion for understanding customers and their buyer behaviour. He was rapidly promoted to head up customer and market insight at a well-known retailer, before turning his attention to the world of online. Very early he recognised the importance and influence it had, not only as a place to purchase, but as a part to purchase, and went on to head up an online acquisition and retention team.
Neil joined Summit as a Senior Client Director steering and advising some of the UK’s leading brands including Topshop, BHS, Topman, Durex and Three. He now heads up Summit’s Retail Consulting function, which is a position that fully utilises his wide range of retail skills and experience, particularly in relation to customer insight, behaviour and analytics which all form important parts of ecommerce strategy.
Outside of work, Neil spends his time with his young family and playing sport. He’ll try his hand at anything sports related, but has a particular interest in squash and football, playing regularly in local leagues.
