Client Performance Manager
I joined Summit as a Client Executive, working with office supplies retailer Viking, and later moved to the BHS team where I was promoted to Client Manager. I then began to develop a specific interest in Summit’s performance marketing platform, Forecaster, and was given the opportunity to join the Forecaster team in 2015.
What were you doing before you joined Summit?
At university studying Geography
What made you want to apply for the job at Summit?
The opportunity to be involved with big, high profile clients.
The opportunity to learn new skills, as i hadn't done any marketing before.
A way to apply what i'd learnt at university in a new context - I do use the skills i learnt at university even though i am working in a different industry.
I also knew someone at Summit who suggested that i might enjoy working here.
What advice can you give for people who aspire to be where you are?
Work hard, look to the future and don't sit happy with where you are, keep driving to be better. Be polite and friendly to people and help to maintain a nice friendly environment; rudeness won't get you anywhere.
What's your favourite thing about working at Summit?
How much of a family it is. People will do anything for each other here, and are always willing to help, across all of the Summit offices. This has helped me to grow as an individual as i have never been scared to ask for help.
Working with high profile clients and driving success for them.
Breaking my skirt doing the Limbo at the Christmas Party and having to go home!
What reasons would you give other people for joining?
Everyone is lovely, great progression and exposure opportunities and a fab place to work.
Baking or going to the rugby
Eating half the food while i am baking!
