Dave Trolle

Dave is pivotal to setting the overall online marketing strategies across all Summit clients



Dave joined Summit in July 2004 as an account manager through our Graduate Recruitment Scheme. He subsequently made rapid progress, becoming a Senior Client Manager in 2005 and Client Director in 2009, before moving into his current role as Head of Online Marketing in March 2012.

Before joining Summit, Dave completed a BA (Hons) at the University of Lincoln in Electronic Business and Commerce, achieving a 2:1. The degree was the first of its kind to focus on online and inspired Dave to seek a role within the industry following graduation.

Dave is pivotal to setting the overall online marketing strategies across all Summit clients, supporting the Senior Client Manager team in developing bespoke plans aligned to our retail client’s objectives and ensuring an integrated approach across all marketing campaigns. In addition, Dave works closely with Summit’s specialist teams to continuously develop our online marketing offering in line with digital trends and media partner product launches, whilst feeding into the Forecaster product roadmap.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending quality time with his family. On a weekend you will most likely find Dave at a Costa Coffee, or escaping daily stresses at either Centre Parcs or in Tenerife. He also enjoys socialising with his friends and colleagues, is a keen sports fan, being a lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC (for his sins), while also following the fortunes of Hull City and Hull FC. Barring marmite and chocolate orange, Dave will rarely say no to food (unless it is a diet day), being especially partial to a spicy curry.
