Overview: Summit provided Carpetright with a range of web-based tools to allow them to attribute in-store sales to the online marketing activity which generated them.

Delivery of two multi-channel enabled e-commerce websites in a mere seven months. The sites had to be integrated with Carpetright’s back office systems, including SAP and Navision, and allow attribution of in-store sales back to the web.

Summit's solution

Our solution

We used Microsoft Biztalk as a middleware application to facilitate integration and communication with Carpetright’s back office systems. Our proprietary marketing tool - Stingray - enables multichannel reporting of retail store sales which originate on the website.

The results

The results

Both sites were delivered on time and within budget. Every week in excess of 55,000 unique visitors arrive at the carpetright.co.uk site, resulting in 800 samples being sent and almost 700 appointments being made. The Carpetright website offers free measuring and estimating appointments.

Within just six months of launch the website has become our most important marketing tool which is a phenomenal achievement.
