Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST to work with our Clients and Programme Management team. Based in Willerby (East Yorkshire), the role will also involve travel to our technology centre in Prague and to clients' offices. Your key task will be to define, specify and deliver ecommerce solutions consistent with our clients' expectations and business needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Solution landscape; solution definition and definition process
  • Being the authority on requirements and expectations associated with each release
  • Customer training plan and documentation
  • Gathering and analysing user requirements
  • Gathering and analysing business requirements
  • Translating business requirements to specific software requirements
  • Evaluating information gathered through workshop, business process description and task analysis.
  • Creating and maintaining specification documentation
  • Reviewing technical requirements
  • Communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs
  • Acting as an interface between business units, UX experts, technology teams and support teams
  • Serving as the knowledge resource for internal and external customers
  • Coaching and training end users on new applications and data processing flow
  • Participating in solution-definition process
  • Supporting product acceptance testing and documentation
  • Monitoring, analysing and optimising delivery processes
  • Updating and expanding the knowledge base

 

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level or above and will also possess:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience as SW Analyst
  • Knowledge of web, particularly ecommerce
  • Analytical skills
  • Creativity
  • Ability to integrate technology and business requirements and constraints
