Jon Taylor - Head of Technology Services
As head of technology services, Jon is responsible for ensuring that Summit’s market-leading digital services remain relevant and reflect the needs of our retail clients.
Working alongside our specialist technology team in Prague, Jon has overall responsibility for which services we offer, how they’re delivered to the client and the overall product roadmap, as well as acting as the central point of contact for client liaison.
A graduate of Brunel University where he gained a BSc in industrial design, Jon has enjoyed a varied career. He’s worked as e-commerce manager for Abbey National, set up the digital division of a large regional marketing agency and, before joining Summit, was head of online development at Hallmark Cards.
Away from work, Jon is a passionate cook, gadget lover and culture vulture. He likes nothing more than to while away the hours tending his vegetable patch.

About Jon
What are you currently interested in?
Mobile convergence is fascinating me, especially the way the OS wars and the app ecosystems are panning out. I'm also interested in energy production, looking at new ways to generate electricity from renewable sources.
Who or what inspires you?
My children and my family.
What's your hidden talent?
I'm very good at drawing.
What do you get up to away from work?
As well as spending a lot of time with my family. I'm also a massive petrolhead - and my dream car would be a Maserati Coupé.
