Ben Latham - Client Services Director
Ben joined the Summit team in 2006, bringing a wealth of experience developed over an extensive career in retail marketing.
After graduating from Hull University, he trained as a professional marketer and went on to do a Diploma in Marketing.
Ben has worked for a number of companies in the online market place, including Boots and E.ON. At Boots, he was responsible for the marketing launch of a joint venture with Granada TV called “Wellbeing”. This was a TV channel and website promoting health and beauty expertise, advice and products. Later, Ben was responsible for the launch of www.boots.com.
Formerly a Summit client, Ben was impressed by the company’s emphasis on a strong working relationship and its focus on KPIs. He decided this fresh approach was different to the normal agency style – and something he wanted to experience from the “other side of the fence.”
Ben is married and a father to two children, Poppy and Harry, and the family is his core focus out of work. Ben enjoys sports when he has time; in particular golf, squash, badminton and football, generally followed by a pint to aid recovery.

About Ben
What are you currently interested in?
In a bid to get fit, I’ve just joined a squash club, and I’m also playing football every week. Cooking is a bit of a passion, so dinner parties at ours are a regular occurrence.
I’ve also just started a wine tasting course with the view to educating myself on the finer things in life.
Who or what inspires you?
Doing a great job: knowing that you’ve delivered the best that’s possible is more motivating that anything else.
What's your hidden talent?
I’m not sure I have a hidden talent… it’s certainly not golf! I’m also too big for polo and tone deaf, so that puts a stop to most things.
If I asked my children, they’d say my hidden talent is being the biggest interactive climbing frame they’ve ever played on.
What do you get up to away from work?
As anyone with kids will know, life away from work is your family. I love spending weekends with them: going for walks, swimming, bike rides and anything else to keep us all active.
