Within the UK, Summit operates from central London and two offices in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We have our European headquarters in Prague, the Czech Republic.
Summit HQ, Yorkshire
The Summit HQ moved to purpose built offices at Albion Mills near Hull in January 2012. The move has been prompted by our ever growing team, and will enable us to expand our European team as well as our eCommerce team based in the UK.
Summit’s London office in Covent Garden is home to a mix of permanent and visiting staff. It provides a convenient meeting place for those based in Yorkshire and Prague, as well as clients, suppliers and partners.
As our continental client-base continues to grow, Summit London also gives us easy access to the major European cities.
Opened in 2005, our mainland European HQ is in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
Our team of 20 full-time staff provide technology development and networking support to all of our clients. We have strong links with the city’s Charles University, which is widely recognised as a centre of excellence in software development.
Summit’s original home – formerly a workshop producing concrete gnomes – opened on April 1, 2001. Today, it’s home to 28 staff who work on affiliate marketing and social media.
This Summit office is in the grounds of HMP Wolds and staffed by a number of Category C prisoners, as well as permanent employees. Upon release, many of the former inmates become full-time members of staff, or go on to pursue other careers.
Summit Training Centre, Yorkshire
Townend Farm in North Cliffe was Summit’s headquarters from 2006 to 2011. It now acts as the dedicated Summit Training Centre where staff and clients are updated on best industry practice through a series of formal and informal training and briefing sessions. Townend Farm is also home to The White Rose Polo Club. During the Summer months, polo matches provide the perfect backdrop to our training sessions.
Set in 68 acres, Townend is one of the model farms built by the inventor of the metallic umbrella frame, Even so, our gates are open to visitors in all weathers.
